The Eggplant That Ate Chicago

The Eggplant That Ate Chicago is a psychedelic jug band song about alien invasion by Dr. West's Medicine Show and Junk Band. Although often listed as a "one hit wonder", the author of this song, Norman Greenbaum, is also responsible for the hit "Spirit in the Sky".^[1] It was re released on Dr. Demento Presents: The Greatest Novelty Records of All Time, Volume III: The 1960's 1985.
